These menstrual discs have a silicone that is softer than most menstrual cups while having a firm enough ring to keep it in place. There is a small notch in the disc that allows you to place your finger in for easy removal.

Because they are made from 100% medical grade silicone, they can be cleaned with warm water and a gentle antibacterial soap, or boiled for 2-3 minutes to sanitize. You can also use the Saalt Intimate Cleaning Wipes for extra easy cleaning.

Sanitize your disc before first use and before or after each period. You can do this by boiling your disc, wiping with 70% isopropyl alcohol, or using your favorite cup steamer/santizer.

During your period, you will want to clean your disc at least once every 12 hours. You can do so by rinsing the disc with cold water (to prevent staining) and then washing the disc with hot water and a wash that is mild, pH-balanced, fragrance-free, oil-free, and rinses clean with no residue.
